Chorus: Close to Your heart The only place I ever want to be Close to Your heart To gaze at You throughout eternity Close to Your heart My beautiful, so beautiful God Gazing forever, at the beauty of Your heart.
When all my prayers, hurt and tears Fail to brake the cruel wall You're grace breaks through, You're always near My Father, Savior, Holy Ghost.
Chorus: Close to Your heart The only place I ever want to be Close to Your heart To gaze at You throughout eternity Close to Your heart My beautiful, so beautiful God Gazing forever, at the beauty of Your heart.
Although You're always by my side Your Spirit guides me from within Some days feels like You're far away And every breath I take, is aching.
I pray to see and understand To know You how You really are And every glimpse I get of You Draws me yet closer to Your heart.
Your beauty overwhelms my soul All things around me fade away I long to have a heart like Yours My Father, Savior, Holy Ghost.
