Could This Be the Messiah

Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the One?

Could it be, after all these years? I've waited for so long! Could it be, you would dry my tears And fill my heart with song? Could it be, this newborn babe Would be the Chosen One? Could it be that Almighty God Has sent to us His son?

Could these promises be fulfilled In this newborn child to come? Could this be the Messiah, the One? Could it be, the Counselor, the Prince of Peace is here? Could it be that the King of kings has finally appeared?

Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the Messiah I've waited for? Could this be the One?

Could these promises be fulfilled In this newborn child to come? Could this be the Messiah? Could this be the Messiah? Could this be the Messiah, the One?
